Wales: Day 2

It’s day 2 of our holiday in Wales and coming back here has reminded me why I love this place so much! Tenby is simply stunning and the town is so pretty and serene. The beaches are what you would see on a postcard and everyone is so much friendlier here.

Today, we looked round the town of Tenby, nosing in all the quaint, little gift shops and finding the pasty shop of which we bought 4 for lunch! (They were amazing.) We ate the pasty’s on South Beach down the bottom of a huge hill, where we spent a good few hours sunbathing and letting the dog run by the sea. It soon got a bit windy so we packed everything up and retreated to a café for ice cream. I had an Oreo one, so good 😀

We then walked round the town a little more which seems to involve a lot of walking up hills! Good thing it was nice weather though. It’s been warm and sunny all day with just a little breeze so I didn’t mind too much.

Back at the cottage, we have been sitting in the garden as it’s still warm. I’m not sure what the plan is for this evening but we are eating in as we had lunch out.

I forgot to mention yesterday that I had the coldest shower as the water wasn’t on. Only now have we figured out how to do this! I look forward to having a warmer one tomorrow. Talking of tomorrow, it’s meant to rain so we are trying to think what to do. I will update tomorrow evening so you know what we did.

Hope everyone’s having a nice weekend! 🙂
