Update On My Life

I really have been slacking on the blogging front recently. December tends to be a busy month for me (and everyone else I’m sure) and as I’m writing this, I’m still trying to recover from last night’s work party which has left me feeling exhausted and slightly hungover. It was a great night ending in a house party which prolonged the partying until around 2 in the morning when everyone started wandering home.

I’ve had another few nights out including with my Zumba group which was hands down the most hilarious night I’ve had in ages and a night out with my friends. It’s all starting to feel very festive and I’d like to say I’d helped decorate the tree but I decided to be in charge of music, tea and the box of Heroes because I’m getting old. I do honestly feel quite old at times. I get in from work, exhausted mostly and just want to sleep. It is dark after all. However, I drag myself to Zumba and round my boyfriends’ so I’m not seen as the social recluse I’d rather be. Ha!

I went to the cinema on Friday night to see Mockingjay Part 2 (finally) and rather embarrassingly was pretty much sobbing at the end because well it’s very sad and is quite scarily a reflection of what is happening in the world at the moment. Not on the Hunger Games scale though, wouldn’t like to exaggerate that much. Anyway, I knew what was coming because I’ve read the books but it still got me. Brilliant film.

What else have I done? Oh yeah, I worked last weekend at a Christmas Tree Festival and was in charge of the tombola. That was fun. I spent all day giving out prizes and scoffing cake. My Christmas jumper also had it’s first outing this year and I looked pretty jazzy.

I really will get back to blogging with a vengeance though. I have a few ideas for the end of the year and who knows where it will go in the New Year but I will be doing a lot more posting then. I’m working up until the 24th and then probably won’t post too much in the time I’ve got off but you might get a few surprises.

Have a good Christmas!

Your really not the only one so please don’t stress yourself out lovely! December is busy for everyone in some way or another. I know what it’s like working full time also, I’m working till the 22nd and have taken a couple of day of to see family and friends but it does leave you feeling absolutely knackered after a while! I’m loving blogging but going to get properly back into in Jan/end of Dec when I can fully commit to posting a couple of times a week 🙂 Have a great christmas! Is it too early to say Happy New Year yet? I feel it is, haha.
