I’ve decided to jump on the bandwagon and engage in one of these daily prompt challenges. Not because I’m stuck for ideas but because it looked interesting and hopefully will provide some content that you would all like to see.
So here’s the first one…
DAY 1: List 10 things that make you really happy
- Family & Friends
If I listed these as family, friends and boyfriend then I’d be using up 3 of my 10 (not that you’re not all important enough to have your own number!) These 3 combined make me happy as they all know me better than myself at times and I can rely on them for anything.
2. My dog (and dogs in general!)
Anyone who knows me will know that I love dogs and adore my black lab, Fred, who is a bundle of trouble. Most dogs are just so happy and loving all the time, it just makes me smile. The only thing I really use Facebook for is to tag my boyfriend in cute dog videos…
This may seem like a strange one but I genuinely love karaoke. Always have done and probably always will. I’ve been to a karaoke bar for my last two birthdays and it’s just a bit of a laugh really. I also have all of the SingStar games on Playstation 2. I’m so old school. My go to song is: Britney Spears – Toxic.
4. Baked Beans
Hands down my all time favourite food! There is nothing better than a jacket potato with cheese and beans or pizza with beans or breakfast with beans or practically anything with beans. Heinz are my saviours and I may just have a cupboard dedicated to baked beans when I move out.
So cliché I know but shopping genuinely makes me really happy except for when I look at my bank balance. Then I’m not so happy.
The TV programme not my actual friends. They were mentioned above. Best programme ever! It never fails to make me laugh no matter how many times I re watch it. My favourite episodes are (because I just can’t choose one) the one where Ross tries to pivot the sofa, the one where Rachel’s sister comes for Thanksgiving and Monica and Chandler’s wedding. Monica and Chandler are just goals.
7. My bed
For obvious reasons. Also I’m really lazy.
Looking back on photographs makes me happy. I like reminiscing about the good times I’ve had with friends, family and my boyfriend. It reminds me what a good life I’ve had so far.
Again, cliché much but I have really enjoyed going on holiday to some of the most amazing places such as New York and Paris. They literally took my breath away and I was so excited and happy to be there.
It’s amazing how something so simple can be so comforting and addictive. Tea is the best.
That’s it for now. Come back tomorrow for ‘Something that someone told you about yourself that you never forgot.’
