Hello kind readers of the world! Thank you all for sticking with me through this 30 Day Challenge. It looks like you’re all enjoying the content I’m putting out there which motivates me to keep writing every day. Here’s day 7.
DAY 7: List 10 songs that you’re loving right now
- The Weeknd – I Feel It Coming
I know this has been out a while but I love the Michael Jackson vibe it gives off. The Weeknd are just effortlessly cool and will probably continue to be so. Each and every track of theirs is good.
2. Ed Sheeran – What do I know?
I, along with every other young music lover, purchased Mr Sheeran’s album last weekend. It’s safe to say I have fallen in love. Especially with this song. He sings about the state of the world and hoping for peace. It’s what everyone’s been thinking but hasn’t been able to express as articulately.
3. Shaggy – That Love
I heard this at my local zumba class one evening and was instantly hooked; it’s so catchy. Good old Shaggy bringing back his tropical sounding tunes.
4. Tom Zanetti – You Want Me
I have had this song on repeat for ages but have surprisingly not grown tired of it which is a sign of a good song. Of the dance genre, this is one for those club nights and queuing at the bars.
5. Alan Walker – Alone
You may know Alan Walker from his massive hit, Faded. This is another song sure to be a huge hit. It’s been out a while now but just as good as his previous stuff.
6. The Shires – Black & White
Heralding from the country genre, this duo have the most perfect of harmonies and this makes for a beautiful ballad. I would quite like this played at my wedding…jus’ sayin.
7. Will Smith – Switch
A huge throwback to the legend that is Will Smith and his catchy 90s tune; Switch. One for the clubs mainly but I do like to dance round my bedroom trying to act cool to this one.
8. Galantis – Peanut Butter Jelly
I can’t get enough of this song. It’s yet another one where I dance round my bedroom merrily. Just a feel good tune.
9. Dua Lipa – Be The One
Dua Lipa (no idea how to pronounce that one) has been going from strength to strength recently. I absolutely love her voice. She may be fairly unknown but I think she’s one to watch this year. This song will show you why.
10. Lorde – Green Light
I loved Lorde’s debut album Pure Heroine and couldn’t wait for the follow up. It seems we have a taster right here and I love it. Roll on the new album.
